What time should we arrive?
We kindly ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes early to find parking, walk to the site, find your seats, and get settled! Please do not come late and interrupt the ceremony.
What is the dress code?
Use this day to dress up and look amazing! Dress code is black-tie optional. Dresses should be be floor-length, tea-length, or midi length. Suit & Tie's or Tuxedo's are best. No jeans please!
Our wedding colors are dusty blue, sage green, and buttercup yellow, so wearing colors that compliment them would be best! We kindly ask that you do not wear colors traditionally reserved for the bride--white, ivories, blushes, cream's, etc.
Is the ceremony unplugged?
Yes, we ask that you please keep your phones on silent and in your pockets during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture all the amazing moments and we are excited to share those photos with you after the wedding!
Of course, you are more than welcome to have your phones out and take pictures during the reception!
Are kids invited?
Yes, children are welcome at our wedding! However, we encourage you to use this event to take some time off for yourself!
Can we bring a Plus One?
Yes! It should be listed on your invitation as well!
What are the hotel accommodations?
There are a couple of options on where to stay in Mena, AR if anyone needs to spend the night in a hotel. They are in the travel tab of our website. Unfortunately other places in Mena require a 3 to 4 night stay. If you are planning to stay that long, then we definitely recommend checking those options out as well. There are also plenty of AirBNB options if you'd rather look into those.
Will there be alcohol?
Unfortunately, Mena does not have a taxi service, and we do not feel comfortable having a bar when there's no way to guarantee our guests have a way to get back to their accommodations safely. However, we will be providing a glass or two of champagne to those who would like some. We hope you understand our decision!
Will there be food?
There will be a cocktail hour at 2:30 with Hors d'oeuvres and finger foods, and then we will serve dinner!
Is there parking?
Yes! The Venue we have chosen has plenty of parking for our guests!
Gifts?
We are honored and excited to celebrate our special day with our loved ones! Your presence and well wishes are the most meaningful gifts we could ever ask for. If you are considering bringing a gift, we kindly request monetary contributions to our Newlywed Fund located in the registry tab on this website, as opposed to physical items if possible as we have very limited space in our apartment. Thank you!
Will the wedding take place indoors/outdoors?
The plan is to have the ceremony take place outdoors, while the reception will be indoors. If the weather is not ideal, then both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors.
What time will the reception end?
At the moment, the plan is to have the reception end at 7:30!
